June Simmonds

June, together with her husband David, own and run a BHS approved riding school and livery yard in a beautiful location within the New Forest near Ringwood. They currently share their home with Brodie and Jade, two black labradors who were born at the farm. Their equine friends come in all ages, shapes and sizes from Murphy who is a 20 month old irish draft/ thoroughbred to George who will be 44 years old on St George`s Day.

June is a qualified BHSAI, accredited by Heather Moffett as an Enlightened Equitation Teacher and continues to train with Heather and has also trained with Kelly Marks at Intelligent Horsemanship. June strongly believes that true horsemanship is building a harmonious relationship with a horse both in ridden work and groundwork and understanding and catering for their individual personalities and needs. She has a special gift of building confidence and trust between horse and rider progressing only at a speed appropriate to the partnership.

June started her love of horses at the age of seven and has ridden and owned horses throughout her life both in the U.S and in the U.K. She really enjoys working with people at all levels either using the Equisimulator, their own horse, or her own well schooled horses.

Karen Morley

Karen lives in Cadnam with her husband Robert, cats Biscuit and Cocoa and newest resident Lucy, a 5 year old Westie. She has 2 equine friends, Tipsy a 15 2 TB/WB and Sassy, a cheeky chestnut Shetland. Oh, and of course, little George the yard cat. She started her riding at 2 years old and has been besotted with horses ever since. She was an ardent competitor in Dressage, ODE, S/J and side saddle but now just loves hacking and a little schooling.

Karen works as a coach/mentor and one of her specialities is enabling her clients to have a positive attitude and confidence in themselves, so promoting a successful happy relationship between horse and rider.
